EditMuiderberg is only rideable with north-east or easterly winds, 80% of the wind in the Netherlands is south-west or west. There are many 15 rideable days a year on Muiderberg. You can stand everywhere and the water is really flat. Freestyle heaven … for 15 days a year, which you’ll share with 100+ other kiters.
It is your responsibility to check whether kitesurfing is allowed at the spot; you might need a 'special permit' or membership from a local kite organization, etc. Local rules can change. Respect others - kiters or not; kite safely and enjoy the wind!
